Sai Gourisankar is a 5th year chemical engineering PhD candidate at Stanford, in Gerald Crabtree's lab. His research work is around engineering induced proximity therapeutics to target transcription and, more broadly, discovering how signaling pathways to chromatin are dysregulated in disease. He's very interested in novel therapeutic modalities and, perhaps especially, excited by stories that go from new discoveries in human genetics to targeted drugs. In his free time Sai trains with the triathlon club at Stanford and enjoys cycling.
