Jay is a senior at Columbia majoring in Computer Science and Physics. He has interned in quantitative finance, where he applied statistics and ML to financial modeling. At Standard Metrics he worked on building the POST API, which is used by many top VC firms (including 8VC). At school, he was the vice president of Biophysics Society, does research on LLM interpretability, and runs a fellowship on studying economic progress (progressfellowship.info). In his free time, he's either reading, going to a hackathon, or training MMA. Jay is also an avid meditator, interested in the philosophy of non-dualism, and is volunteering to teach meditation to children.
