Dawn Chen is a 3rd year PhD student in Systems, Synthetic and Quantitative Biology at Harvard University. She is working on developing tools for cell type-specific targeting. Dawn graduated from Yale University with degrees in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry and Statistics and Data Science, where she discovered new RNA gene control elements and analyzed genetic risk for cardiovascular disease. She then worked at Google as a Software Engineer. Dawn enjoys hiking, trying out new recipes, and playing interesting musical instruments.
